Eleven Mathematics Students Inducted into Phi Beta Kappa Spring 2007—Connecticut's Epsilon Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa invited the following current undergraduates with majors in the Mathematics Department to be initiated into membership.
Phi Beta Kappa is the oldest and best-known collegiate academic honor society in the United States. Membership standards are quite high for seniors, and significantly higher for juniors. The Mathematics Department is the academic home of nine of the 172 senior initiates and two of the fifteen junior initiates. |
