The exam will cover everything we do this semester: in lectures, in quizzes in the homework, and in the book. However the focus of the final will be on the material that we've learned after the second midterm.From the book, this means that the final exam will focus on
Section 6.1-6.7, 7.2, 7.4 :
Section 1.1-1.5, 3.1-3.4 A6-A8. (Midterm 1)
Section 4.1-4.5, 5.1-5.6, 5.8. (Midterm 2)

Bring pen, pencil and eraser. You may use your calculator but it must agree with the department policy. Please see Course information for that. Computers, cell phones are not allowed in the exams. Please bring your student ID. You may bring THREE 4x6 note cards (both sides) or a letter size paper (both sides).

There will be a review section for the final during the last lecture, April 26 (contact your instructor for more detail). In addition to in-class review, there will be 3 separate one-hour review sessions:
Friday April 27, at 5-6 PM in MSB 118 by TA Deniz Karli
Sunday April 29 at 5-7PM in PB 36 by TA Ryan Schwarz
Monday April 30 at 6-7PM in MSB 118 by Dr. Ning Khamsemanan

Come with questions, otherwise we will go over the practice exam.

There will be NO make-up Final
An unexcused absence will be given a grade of 0. The instructor or coordinator must be notified before missing final exam if at all possible and immediately thereafter when not possible. The coordinator will determine if the absence from an exam will be excused.
