Our midterm will be Thursday, March 29,during lecture time, The room for midterm will be in your lecture. The midterm will cover everything we do after the first midterm up to March 29: in lectures, in quizzes in the homework, and in the book.

From the book, this means that we are going to include
Section 4.1-4.5, 5.1-5.6, 5.8.

Bring pen, pencil and eraser. You may use your calculator but it must agree with the department policy. Please see Course information for that. Computers, cell phones are not allowed in the exams. Please bring your student ID. You may bring a 4x6 note card (both sides can be used).

There will be a review section for the midterm during class on Tuesday March27 (contact your instructor for more detail). In addition to in-class review, there will be 3 separate one-hour review sessions:
Monday March 26, at 8 PM in MSB 118 by TA Deivid Faulin
Tuesday March 27 at 5:30PM in ARJ 407 by TA Denys Lebedev
Wednesday March 28 at 1:55PM in MSB 118 by TA Tao Chen

Come with questions, otherwise we will go over the practice exam.

There will be NO make-up Midterm

The instructor or coordinator should be notified before missing any exam or quiz if at all possible and immediately thereafter when not possible. The coordinator will determine if the absence from an exam will be excused.
